Apparently, there is a storm coming. We have models for predicting the storm’s behavior, but the weather changes. Weather always changes. I am wondering how we prepare students for futures we can model but not perfectly predict. I am wondering how we create a sense of urgency that activates students to prepare and problem-solve without causing panic or anxiety for parents and/or students. How might we prepare and practice in ways that alleviates the need to perfectly predict?
